I help leaders, founders, and high-performers unlock the capabilities that AI can't replace — through neuroscience, human-centered strategy, and the science of how we actually work.
We're living through the fastest cognitive shift in human history. And yet most performance advice hasn't changed since the industrial era — work harder, push through, optimize your morning routine.
The Human Edge is built on a different premise. Performance is a design problem. The human brain is extraordinarily capable — but only when the conditions are right. The science is clear. The application is rare.
That's what I spend my time on: translating neuroscience and organizational design into frameworks that actually work in the real world of high stakes, fast timelines, and a rapidly evolving relationship with AI.
After years at the intersection of neuroscience, organizational design, and AI — I distilled what actually predicts human performance. Not productivity. Not hustle. Six core capabilities that compound over time.
The ability to focus fully in a distracted world.
Reading people, rooms, and relationships with precision.
Rewiring fast in the face of change.
Recovering, not just persisting.
Unlocking performance in others, not just yourself.
Seeing the whole when everyone else sees a part.
You're navigating AI adoption while trying to keep your team's morale, creativity, and output high. You need frameworks that work at speed — not theory.
High-performing by any external measure but quietly burning out under the surface. You're ready to work smarter, not harder — and you need a real framework to do it.
Early in your career and ready to build the habits and mindsets now that will compound for decades — not just survive the next deadline.

Neuroscientist, strategist, and founder building the playbook for human performance in the AI era.
I grew up believing performance was about effort. If you weren't succeeding, you weren't trying hard enough. That belief took me a long way.
It got me a neuroscience degree from Emory. An MBA. A seat at the table inside some of the most dynamic organizations I've ever encountered — CNN, 1-800-FLOWERS, and eventually Dropbox, where I led Design Operations across a 160-person org through two acquisitions.
And then the belief broke.
Not dramatically. Not in one moment. But slowly, over years of watching brilliant people grind themselves down and call it performance. Of seeing AI reshape what work means in real time. Of realizing that the frameworks we were using — productivity hacks, hustle culture, "just push through" — were built for a world that no longer exists.
So I started asking a different question.
Not: how do people work harder? But: how do people actually work — at a neurological level — and what does that mean for how we should design our work, our teams, and our relationship with the tools we're building?
The Human Edge is the answer I'm still building. It's a framework, a content platform, a coaching practice, and an ongoing investigation into the one thing AI can't replicate: the full range of human capability, operating at its best.
"Performance is a design problem, not a willpower problem."
The science came first. Understanding the brain — how it learns, adapts, focuses, and breaks — is the foundation of everything I teach.
The business lens. Where I learned that systems, incentives, and org design matter as much as individual capability.
Led a 160-person design organization through two acquisitions. Saw firsthand how culture, structure, and leadership either enable or destroy human performance at scale.
Cross-industry experience in media and e-commerce. Built the ability to read different organizational cultures and design for them.
Performance is a design problem, not a willpower problem.
Struggling isn't a character flaw. It's usually a signal that the environment, structure, or system isn't designed for how humans actually work.
The human edge isn't threatened by AI. It's revealed by it.
As machines take over execution, what's left is everything that's distinctly human: judgment, creativity, empathy, leadership, adaptability. Those aren't soft skills — they're the hard advantage.
You can't optimize your way to a meaningful life.
Productivity without purpose is just efficient misery. The real work is figuring out what you're optimizing for — and then designing the conditions that make it possible.
Whether you're looking for 1:1 coaching, an organizational engagement, or a keynote — everything I do is rooted in the same thing: helping humans perform at their real ceiling, not their conditioned one.
A high-touch engagement designed for leaders and founders who want to operate at a fundamentally different level. We work together to redesign how you think, lead, and perform — using the neuroscience of human behavior as our guide.
Best for: Senior leaders, founders, and executives navigating major transitions — AI adoption, organizational change, team rebuilding, or personal inflection points.
A hands-on workshop designed for teams navigating the human side of AI adoption, organizational change, or performance challenges. Based on the PEARLS Framework™ and grounded in what the research actually says — not leadership platitudes.
Best for: Leadership teams, design and product organizations, companies mid-transformation, or any group that needs a shared language for human performance.
Research-grounded, story-driven keynotes built to leave audiences with frameworks they can actually use. I speak at conferences, company all-hands, leadership summits, and university events on the intersection of human performance, AI, and organizational design.
